Personal Statement

The most consistent theme throughout my years of experience in mental health is that you have control over your own health, behavior, and intentions. No one else but you can achieve this, and this requires the whole you.

I believe that what we eat, how we behave, who we associate with, where we work, what intentions we put out, what energy we consume, and how we feed our souls all play a vital role in our mental health. I do not believe that there is a one-size-fits-all approach to anyone's road to wellness.

My goal is to help you discover what it is in your life that needs adjustment, change, support, education, and encouragement. I'm also an advocate for developing values and beliefs, and holding you to those values, and helping you live with integrity. I take a philosophical and spiritual path to help you discover your true self.

A holistic approach to treatment means that I make sure you are empowered in every possible way to find wellness. I am not against psychiatry or pharmacology. It may have its purpose and place in your treatment, and with the proper referral you can find help through those avenues. However, if finding a more natural way to health is what you prefer, I will be your biggest advocate.

Telehealth and In-Person Psychotherapy

While I prefer in-person sessions, many clients prefer Telehealth. If you prefer Telehealth, we will meet through a secure portal with your computer, laptop, iPad, or smart phone (Android or Apple). I provide a very easy online experience that is seamless and convenient.

During online sessions, you will need to keep your camera on throughout the session. Facial expressions, body language, and other visual cues are a very important part of the therapy process.
